1426390 Lamps ERCO-LEUCHTEN GmbH 9 May 1973 [16 May 1972] 22142/73 Heading F4R A lamp reflector 10 of cup-shaped form is provided with at least one opening 11 which is covered by an additional curved reflector element 12 adapted to the size of the opening and of greater curvature in the axial direction, than that of the main reflector. The element has a fastening web 12a riveted to the main reflector and is secured by adhesive or solder at its other end 12b to a flange 10a on the main reflector, but an alternative arrangement in which the element is adjustable circumferentially relative to the main reflector is contemplated. The reflector, when used with an ordinary bulb, directs light sideways to illuminate a wall as well as downwards for general illumination, and by providing additional openings covered by additional reflector elements 10 the opposite walls of a corridor may be lit. |
