<p>Seam winder wind ups the seam strip arising after the length seaming of a metal band along the band edges. The machine consists of a winding prong with run-up plates limiting the prong's winding area in an axial direction. The run-up plates have a freely turnable bearing adjoining the front and the rear side respectively of a housing frame. The latter, together with the run-up plate is axially adjustable in relation to the winding prong. At least one of the run-up plates and its corresponding housing frame side are fitted with openings to insert the prong or a prong attachment connected to it.</p> |
