A device is used for static tensioning of a movably mounted rotational body in partic. a roller or rolling disc. It is mounted onto a drive shaft and has a front cap with a nut or matrix attached. The transversing device consists of a conical ring section which clamps the rotational body into its seating on the drive or power shaft in a radial manner. The conical annular section is coupled to the nut or matrix in both the tensioned and also in the released direction through axial follower uptems.
