The assembly has two flexible sleeve-like elements of different dias. inserted one inside the other and suspended in tension. The elements do not touch each other over their length but are joined together around their entire peripheries at one end and open at the other end. The space between the two elements communicates through the opening with the gas inlet or outlet whilst the surfaces of the elements facing away from this space communicate with the gas outlet or inlet.
