<p>Profiles, esp. pipes of thermoplastic material are parted off by means of a rotary cutter which during the operation is fed forward intermittently against the profile surface. The feed of the cutter is effected by a continuous drive through a transmission, and there is a mechanism which interrupts the feed at intervals. Prevents the development of long cuttings which twist around the tube end and have to be removed. The flow of work through the plant is thus speeded up.</p> |
