Floor heating is formed by plastics tubes laid in recesses of a polystyrene substrate (I) covered with a metallic sheet. (I) is provided with an array of circular projection which are covered by the metallic sheet. These novel projections serve as locations for the tubes. They permit more uniform temp. distribution easier temp. control and speedier temp. change response.
