Insulating tape strapping machine - has tongs with tape pressure pad and cutting blade

The tongs are for tying a strap around a long or round object, using adhesive tape. The tongs have an opening, covered by the tape, which is pulled off a roll with its adhesive side uppermost. One tong section moves over the opening, to pull a tape section off the roll, and a blade cuts it. Pressure pads (12,13) are located at the opening, to apply the tape (2) to an object, which moves into and out of the aperture. The tong section (21) moves the cut end of the tape around the object while it is in the opening. The tongs are esp. suitable for applying insulating tape to metal electrical conductors.
