As shown, two metal arms 13, 14 carrying pressure pads 18, 19 in a cassette 4 form, together with a spring 15 acting on them, a capacitive coupling between two electrodes 33, 34 in a switching circuit 32 controlling the drive motor 24 of a magazine 3 containing cassettes 4. Alternatively the field-producing element in the cassette may be a permanent magnet (51), Fig. 2 (not shown), or a ferromagnetic component (61), Fig. 3 (not shown), and may control a latch (54) preventing insertion of a transducer (48) into the cassette.</p> |
