<p>The holding of the circular saw blade for cutting stone blocks increases the depth of saw penetration compared with conventional clamping methods. The holder is fitted on a common plate, and release of the tool is achieved by slackening the clamping screws. The spacing between the saw and the plate is increased by the use of spacers between them so that large stones can be cut. The saw (1) is held by clamps (2) and the spacers of the plate (5), while the side control includes guide rollers (9,10). Centering is achieved with rollers (11',12') which are adjustable by screws (13). The saw is driven by a chain whose pins engage the slots between the saw teeth.</p> |
