The cutter 9, Fig. 4, is rotatably adjustable relative to the cutter 10 such that the size of the envelope cut from the web may be varied. In a modification Fig. 5 (not shown) the variation in the size of blank may be obtained by moving the blades 8, 10 axially relative to the blades 7, 9; in this case separate pairs of co-acting blades 12, 13 and (12<SP>1</SP>, 13<SP>1</SP>) are used instead of a single pair 12, 13 shown in Fig. 1. |
