[Problem] To provide a drip-feed detector that makes it possible to easily detect liquid droplets that fall inside a drip-feed tube, and an infusion pump in which said detector is used. [Solution] A drip-feed detector for detecting liquid droplets MD that fall within a drip-feed tube 39, the drip-feed detector being attached to the drip-feed tube 39 for use; wherein the drip-feed detector is characterized in comprising light-emitting elements 42 arranged to one side of the exterior of the drip-feed tube 39, and light-receiving elements 43 arranged facing the light-emitting elements 42 with the drip-feed tube 39 interposed therebetween; there being more than one of the light-receiving elements 42, each of which emitting light in sequence so as to be offset from each other by a temporal difference; there being fewer of the light-receiving elements 43 than light-emitting elements 42; and a diffusing part 57 being provided nearer to the light-emitting elements 42 than the drip-feed tube 39, the diffusing part 57 causing light irradiated by the light-emitting elements 42 to diffuse at least in the direction in which a plurality of light-emitting elements 42a-42c are lined up. |
