Wooden case hooking head - has single thrust rod actuating hooking units bender slide and driving tappets

The hooking head is for the assembly of wooden cases used for the transport of foodstuffs etc. It has a set of hook-units driven by a single thrust rod (6). In a single operation this moves in succession all the units during an approach stroke by compressing springs (28, 29). A second part of the stroke actuates the bender slide (4) by means of an accessory preventing movement of the slide on the rod. A device for unlocking the rod from the slide is provided and the rod actuates in the final part of the stroke the hook tappets (9, 10) which drive the hook into the case, and which can be arranged to work in conjunction with a hook clinching device.
