Radar reflector with rigid electrically conductive panels - with triangular panels hinged to square panel

Radar reflector comprises triangular panels hinged to a square panel. The panels are cut from a composite material which provides rigidity and superficial electrical conductivity, obtd. by adhesion or welding of sheets of aluminised plastic, aluminised paper or Al on either side of a panel of closed cell multicellular plastic material pref. expanded polyethylene or polystyrene. The aluminised plastic sheets may consist of a polyester sheet coated with metal or with an Al sheet adhered to it. Pref. the hinges axes are arranged parallel to the diagnoses of the square panel and offset in the same direction by a distance equal to the thickness of the triangular panels.
