<p>The heating unit has a compensated thermostat, and forms part of a hot-air circulation system passing through a ventilation chamber with one or more air intakes. It has a compensation probe (10) mounted in the air intake (4) acting on the thermostat (9) dependent on the external air temp. This regulates the ambient temp. in the room to be heated (3), either by transfer of heat from the heat unit when the current through the intake is shut off, or stopping it when a powerful air current enters the room parallel to that through the intake. The probe can have a feeler (12) sensitive to ambient air temp. and a heating resistance (13) giving a constant output.</p> |
