A copy storage and preparation appts. is constructed such that the drawing copies etc. are exposed and stored upon a transport band on a conveyer. Any particular copy etc. may then be recalled and retrieved by means of a register system for information storage. An illumination or exposure production unit, a developer and allied equipment are provided from which a photographic type copier system may be constructed. Both spools (2) at the ends of the machine frame have their own drive. A squeezer plate (4) has diverting rollers (5) at each end. The exposure unit (6) is installed overhead.
