Sack loader for vehicle platform - with sack dropped on travelling carriage for lateral positioning and raised upright by swinging arm

The sack loader receives the sacks from a conveyor and moves them laterally into the required position. A swinging arm (Ptb) then raises these into the upright position. The swinging arm is attached to the boom of the loader by extension sides (FAL). Bearing blocks (PALe at the front form pivots (112) for the frame of the arm. This is operated by an hydraulic cylinder (109). The travelling carriage is a U-shaped construction (SP), running on guides (GL) between the extension sides. Pegs (PG) on its top edges project through the swinging arm to grip the sacks. It is traversed laterally by a cable and motor (Vc).
