The satchel is square and has back support straps, being made of a thin flexible outer covering, with the interior divided by one or more partitions (4) into two or more square interior compartments, with each inner compartment having its own separate inner reinforcement. The inner reinforcement which adjoins the rear side (3) of the satchel consists of a square element (17) which is open at the top and front. The inner reinforcement of the inner compartment or compartments each consists of a U-shaped element (18) which is open at the top. Both these elements are made of a flat rectangular section of a sheet like material.
