<p>The two moving armatures of the relay are magnetisable and form a working air gap with counter poles stationary mounted between them. The armatures are actuated by excitation coils and permanent magnets, which are mounted outside the air gap protective space and magnetically connected to the armature by flux conducting elements. At least one excitation coil, one permanent magnet and connecting flux conducting elements, coupled to the magnetisable contacts, form a modular unit which can be inserted onto the protective housing. Preferably different modules in variable configuration form structures containing different number of elements. The insertable module may contain two permanent magnets in parallel to the armature, at least one having a switchable polarity.</p> |
