The supporting rods 26, 27 have recesses 28 to enable the freeing of the unsupported wing rail, the recesses 28 being longer than the width of the abutments 18, 19. The supporting rods 26, 27 are coupled to a push rod 29 by crank levers 55, 57 mounted on stationary bearing 40, 41 and adjustable members 58, 59. The crank levers have bifurcated ends 46 which engage bolt 45 on the push rod 2d. To ensure that the wing rails 9, 10 and supporting rods 26, 27 have been correctly operated an indicating rod 48 is connected to both the wing rails 9, 10 and the supporting rod cranks 55, 57 by pivoted cross-bars 49, 50. |
