<p>1441894 Monoazo dyes used in transfer printing BAYER AG 23 Dec 1974 [24 Dec 1973] 55386/74 Heading C4P [Also in Division D1] Monoazo dyes free from sulphonic acid group and having the formula (where R 1 and R 2 independently represent hydrogen or an optionally substituted alkyl or cycloalkyl group; n is 1-3 and the benzene rings A and B may be substituted by non-ionic substituents or non-polar substituents respectively) are prepared by diazotization and coupling. The dyes are used in the transfer printing of hydrophobic fibre materials, particularly polyesters, polyamides, polyacrylonitrile and cellulose tri- and 2¢-acetate.</p> |
