<p>The combined nozzle and spreader is made from plastic or similar material and is screwed onto the end of a tube. The contents are extruded through an orifice and one or two spatulas (2, 2') moulded at the same end are used for spreading. Each spatula is joined to the nozzle (1) at its base, protruding ribs (3) forming a channel to direct the flow of material as it is extruded and spread. One spatula may have a central hole (6) which is used for improving the flow. A plug (4) is attached to the side of the nozzle to seal the tube after use.</p> |
