<p>Packaging material comprises a layer of heat-insulating material, covered, on one side, with a flexible, reflecting, non-metallic film, which is attached to it by adhesive, welding or similar means. The reflective, non-metallic film pref. consists of a metallised polyester, an expanded plastic, or a nonwoven natural or synthetic material. Use of a non-metallic reflective film in place of conventional Al avoids heat losses caused by the thermal conductivity of Al.</p> |
