Handling unit for moving plastics pipes - uses gripper attached to support plate actuated by rod system guided by curved plate

Unit for picking up and moving up of plastic pipes on a circular track e.g. into and out of a heating oven. A gripper (2) is attached to a support plate (1) driven in steps which is actuated by a rod system guided by a fixed front curved plate (15) located on the same axis as the support plate (1). A rear curved plate acting on the rod system has a swivel location in the opening area of the front curved plate (13). The front curved plate (13) has a reduced diameter within the opening area which extends in the case of five processing stages over an angle range from 120 deg. to 160 deg. with a preference for an angle of 140 deg.
