1491220 Electromagnetically actuated contactor LA TELEMECANIQUE ELECTRIQUE 23 Dec 1974 [3 Jan 1974] 55415/74 Heading H1N An electrical contactor has a stationary part 1, 2, 3 of an electromagnetic actuator secured to sidewalls 8, 9 of frame 7, 8, 9 of U-shaped crosssection, a movable part 4 of the actuator in a mounting 37, 38 displaceable perpendicular to base 7 of the frame, being guided by mounting elements 44, 48 in openings 45, 49 in sidewalls 8, 9; the mounting carries a guideway (or slideway) 33, sidewalls 8, 9 carry guide elements 17, 18 parallel to one another to guideway 33 and to base 7; movable parts 5 of contact units are mounted in guideway 33, stationary parts in guiding elements 17, 18, all contact unit parts being adjustable in position along the respective guideway and guiding elements. The contactor is designed for ease of assembly with guides or slideways 12-15 being provided additionally for the one or more stationary actuator parts in the frame so that assembly or replacement of parts is achieved by sliding along from one end or other of the frame to the desired position and then fastening in place by screws, e.g. 30, 31, 21, 22. Resilient bias and further guiding for the movable part 4 is provided by sockets 39 in the mounting in which fit springs and guiding pegs, 42, Fig. 1, 3 or rods (51, Fig. 2, not shown). Cooling fins 52 are provided. |
