Power assisted door closer for motor vehicle - has handle and locking catch with cams controlling working medium valves

The pneumatically or hydraulically actuated door closing mechanism is used for motor vehicle doors. The lock has rotating catch actuated by a piston restored to initial position by a spring and the valve actuator is connected to theinner or external handle for control of the working medium. The pneumatic arrangement is connected to the vacuum pipe of the carburettor or to a vacuum generator. The supply valve actuator is connected to the rotating catch so that the piston is loaded with vacuum only after positive closing of the catch. The locking system can be for rotating catches with a blocking lever without use of the ratcheting arrangement. The working piston of the cylinder chamber (14) in a rotating catch lock with the blocking lever (9) is connected by rods or rope to the rotating catch (3). The rotating catch has cam (3b) for controlling the supply valve (16) for the working medium. The handle (11) with locking lever (9) is used for releasing the rotating catch (3). This handle has cam (11b) for the venting valve (17).
