<p>The tool consists of tube (1) with shoulder (2) at the upper end and elastic collar (3) at the lower end. Inside the tube a telescopic rod (17) with impact element (20) on its end is fitted. The rod is fitted on its upper end also with lateral pin (18) which has a limited t ravel in corresp. slots provided on the lower part of telescopic tube (11) fitted with handle (14) on its upper end. Between the handle and the upper shoulder (2) of tube (1) a return spring (16) is provided. By pushing the handle downwards, while resting the tool on the article to be crushed, spring (16), as well as spring (22) are compressed and rod (17) travels downwards. The impact element on its travel downwards passes cam (9) of the spring loaded arresting lever (5) hereby disengaging hook (8) and the impact element (20) is propelled downwards under the action of the stored kinetic energy of spring (22). At the same spring (16) is compressed and its stored energy is used to return the impact element into its basic position.</p> |
