Refuse processing plant - recirculates part of pyrolysis gas to plasma torch for pyrolysis tank nozzles for low cost process

Waste prods. such as municipal refuse are processed by heating them in a pyrolysis tank by hot circulating gas and by discharging the residue and the metallic components from the tank. A part of the gases produced by the pyrolysis is heated by a plasma torch and is recycled for use as circulating gas to the pyrolysis tank. This produces a high-quality pyrolysis gas without a need for complex separators for inert and foreign components. The costs for such a plant and for its operation are low and the power costs are a min. Uniform decomposition of all refuse and production of pure pyrolysis gas and of ferrous metal are guaranteed.
