<p>The facing is intended to avoid scraping of containers after they have been used for paint, plaster, cement etc. An elastomeric facing is provided on all interior faces of the containers, the elastomer having the following properties; it is antiadherent, adaptable to all containers, resistant to attack by solvents, has an elongation to rupture ratio of between 160% and 450% and allows the use of molten materials which have a melting point of less than 250 deg.C. The facing (2) does not need upkeep and can be fixed to the container walls by any usual method, such as glueing or clamping.</p> |
