<p>The wing mirror is mounted in the housing on a central pivot (5, 6) about which it can tilt in any direction. Two rotating cams (27, 27a) are mounted on the housing backing plate, on opposite sides of the pivot, with tabs on the rear of the mirror held against the cams by spring pressure. The cams are operated by remote Bowden cables linked to a joystick. The system does not require any interlocked pivot frames and separate mountings for the cams or servo motors. It is simple to assemble and adjust.</p> |
