<p>The roller shutter plate to be manufactured is made up from a series of hinge-linked profiled slats with hooks and slits at opposite ends. The hook is retained by a projection on the slit regardless of the angle setting of the slat in each case, and part of each slat is elastically deformable for assembly as in 2524404. The retainer unit (51, 52) for a slat on the machine bench is mounted so as to be movable across the length of the profiled slat (11), and able to move towards another slat (10) for exerting pressure. A machine bench (51) can be provided with movement across the length of the slat, with a clamping device (52) incorporated, and a further device can facilitate swivelling of the two slats after mutual pressing.</p> |
