The device is for turning cut boards onto their wide cutting face for gang saw units has guide plates to separate the side-cuts from the main piece. Vertical spiked rollers are outside these, to remove the cut pieces along a controlled path. The sheathing line of the spiked rollers facing the guide plate is sloped inwards from the vertical, towards the plate. Wedge elements are tapered inwards and fitted at the bottom edges of the guide plates, next to the spiked rollers in the direction of removal. The rollers can have an upward widening conical dia. in the vertical axis, with the spike length increasing upwards.
