<p>The container is made of dried clay or clay-containing materials, and may incorporate nutrients or fragrances. In order to stay in place in running water, the container is formed as a rectangular prism which cannot roll. One end of the container may be slightly closed by pinching. The container may also be round, square or octagonal and its dimensions may be varied. After moistening or soaking, the container becomes a mouldable paste which can be used as a binder to make bait balls.</p> |
