The stand is in a vertical assembly with a number of work stations mounted to it. For handling trousers there is a tube extension with a waist tensioner and a combined clamping mechanism for the trouser leg seams. An inner garment steaming section allows heat treatment of ddresses and knitwear. A roller slide gives a double ironing effect on trouser legs so that trousers can be ironed completely in one operation, and dresses and knitwear can be steamed smooth in one stage. The design gives a multi-purpose equipment for single-person operation in dressmaking or cleaning.
