The plug, for wire-wrap distribution frames in communications, has sockets in one end to contact the frame wire-wrap pins and a clamp at the other to retain the cable. The cable wires are connected to pins inside the plug. The pins are electrically connected to the sockets. To allow the cable to leave the plug on the opposite side to the sockets, part of one side (33) of the plug housing is removable. The part that is removable is opposite the screening plate (6) and has lateral projections (35) and a half-hole (30) corresponding to projections and a half-hole on the main body of the plug. The projections act as grips for removing the plug.
