<p>The frame accommodates a portable circular saw so that it can be used either as a panel saw or for parting into lengths, having a slot accommodating part of the blade, stops on the top face for the work and a spring-loaded supporting arm at right angles to the slot running along one of the shorter sides of the table. The arm pivots on a spindle below the table top face, and has a mounting at the free end from which the saw is detachable. The saw can be mounted below the table with the blade protruding upwards through the slot. At one of the shorter sides of the table a spring-loaded shaft (8) is mounted, its movement under the spring action being limited by a stop (12, 13). Between the supporting arm (14) and the shaft, from which the arm is detachable, is a connector, by means of which the arm can be fixed to the shaft when parting into lengths in a predetermined angular position, above the top face of the table (1).</p> |
