<p>The spray pistol handles paint, lacquer, varnish etc., having a spray head with an axial bore connected to a lateral feed passage for the paint, and leading to a spray orifice. Propellant gas is also delivered to the head. The head (3) rotates in relation to the pistol body round the axis of the bore (27). It can be supplied with gas via a sealed chamber formed between it and the body. Locking devices can be provided to secure the paint feed passage at the desired angle above or below the head, which can have a hub extending into a bore in the body to act as a bearing.
