Prefabricated staircase for multistorey building - with stair flights linking vertical panels into independent lattice girder structure

The staircase, for a multi-storey building, in one or two flights, is wholly made up from prefabricated concrete or similar structural components. It is a self-contained structure, quickly and easily assembled and offering a wide range of variation possibilities in layout. It comprises spatial panel elements (1) of equal standard size, and individual flights of stairs (2). The former are set one on top of another in spaced interfacing vertical planes, and linked by the intervening flights of stairs to form an independent staircase tower, like a cross-stiffened lattice or double girder.
