Bag filter for dust separation from air - has rigid mounting on dirty side and flexible mounting on clean side

Filter has a series of filter pockets arranged in a housing using an air back flush to clean them. The clean air side sealed from the dirty side. The filter pockets are rigidly mounted to the housing on the dusty air side. On the clean air side the mounting is to a base plate. This mounted inside the housing by rollers and the purge air jets are fixed to this. To this plate separation walls are mounted next to each other. The pockets are partially tensioned over these and sealed. They are covered by an elastic housing. The outer pockets have an inflatable bag or flexible wall arranged alongside them. Several pockets can be formed from one piece of fabric arranged in groups. Used for filter dust laden gas streams esp. where combustible dusts are involved. Spring tensioned systems to improve cleaning are known but have problems. The filter described is fully elastic in itself this being independent of the degree of fouling or the pressure depression so that adequate cleaning always occurs.
