Prefabricated open fireplace - uses cast iron rear wall, connected to brick sides

The pre-fabricated open fireplace has briked side walls for the hearth and a chimney. The rear wall of the hearth consists of one or more cast-iron pre-fabricated sections (22), connected to the bricked side walls (20), the base (16) of the hearth and/or the chimney (24). The rear wall limits fresh air channels (26), shaped like warm air heating channel, and opens into an internal space. The air flow in the channel is warmed on the rear wall. The channel forms part of an air circulation system. The air channel branches below the rearwall, and part of the fresh air is guided below the hearth, and into it and/or the room. The rear wall has angled side flanks projecting over the briked side walls.
