<p>The device for removal and disintegration of cut off ends of wire from roller processes has a cutting installation comprising two circulating drums. On the circumference of at least one drum there are fixed blades for chopping up the ends of wire emerging through the gap between the drums. The gap (C) between the drums (6a, 6b) of the cutting installation is slightly smaller than the dia. of the ends of material (2) emerging through it, and the circumference speed of the drum is greater than the through flow speed of the material between the drums. At least one drum has differing dia. stages, (4a-4d) which form with the other drum different gaps to accommodate material passing through them of differing dias.</p> |
