Stacking filled sacks on pallet - using rotating and pivoting spaced segments and at least one stop

Procedure for placing and stacking filled sacks in layers on a pallet by which the single sacks are at predetermined time intervals and in accordance with an adjustable programme turned either left or right from their transport position. Alternatively the sacks remain in the transport position and after being displaced across their transport direction they are formed in layers and the layers stacked on top of each other on the pallet. The equipment for turning the sacks consists of rotatably and pivotably mounted turning segments (12) and at least one stop (14). The distance between the segments (12) is greater than the width of the sack (5). The segments (12) are rotated and the stop (14) is lifted or lowered by a programmed control.
