<p>Resectoscope comprises an outer shaft (1) of cylindrical lower and oval upper cross-section ending in a nozzle (4), a circular section inner shaft (10) ending before the nozzle, and an eccentric lens tube (20) in the inner shaft. The crescent-shaped chamber contg. wires for a cutting loop, between inner shaft and lens tube, is connected to a flushing water inlet, and the crescent-shaped chamber between the outer and inner shafts forms a flushing water return channel. The distal end of the outer shaft consists of a thick-walled plastic nozzle-forming sleeve (5) on the inside of which is a longitudinal semicircular-section recess (7) which communicates with the chamber between inner and outer shafts and with the outside via holes (8) at the nozzle.</p> |
