<p>The device uses two potentiometer units, the first formed by a battery of coupled potentiometers, where the positions of the arms of the potentiometers is controlled by the value of a first geometric parameter of the appliance. The second is formed by a potentiometer of which the position of the arm is controlled by the value of a second geometric parameter of the appliance. The second unit potentiometer has multiple tappings, which are respectively electrically connected to the arms of the first unit potentiometers. A pair of predetermined particular values of the first and second parmeters is associated with each of the tappings of the first potentiometers. This corresponds to a maximum permissible load, according to the conditions of operation. This maximum load is represented by a reference voltage.</p> |
