1502936 Elevator guides TOWMOTOR CORP 14 May 1976 [22 Sept 1975] 19935/76 Heading B8L A lift truck mast comprises a pair of spaced interconnected slider members 44, 46 longitudinally slideable within a pair of spaced interconnected channel members 24, 26, each slider member being assembled to its associated channel member by inserting the bottom end of the slider member 44 which carries a roller 58, at right angles through an opening in a side flange at the top of the channel member, moving the slider member down the channel member sufficiently to permit installation of a top roller 66 on the channel member, and thereafter rotating the slider member into longitudinal alignment with the channel member for operative engagement. An opening is formed in a side flange 52 of the slider member to allow passage of the roller 66 as the slider member is moved into alignment with the channel member. Each channel member 24, 26 comprises a web 32, 38 on which the top roller 66, 70 is mounted, and flanges 34, 36 and 40, 42 forming open facing channels. The slider members 44, 46 comprise open facing channels formed by webs 50 and 54 carrying the bottom rollers 5, 8 and side flanges 84, 86 and 88, 90, a single flange 52, 56 extending from the other side of each web into the channel of the associated channel member. The facing channels of the slider members engage guide rollers 96, 100, 104, 106 of the truck load lifting carriage 82. |
