Receiver aerial voltage level recording circuit - using digital converter and counter supplied with tone generator signal

A circuit for measurement and registering of voltage levels of receiver aerials is designed for use with existing receivers to provide a digital recording method, thus maintaining economy. The receiver tone generator frequency is fed to a frequency counter (7) after conversion to a digital signal. By suitable cycle time selection a relative and absolute aerial level measurement are possible. The tone generator is normally used for production of an audible signal via a loudspeaker to facilitate aerial alignment. It receives an amplified and rectified high frequency aerial signal.
