Pumpkin peeling machine - with steam peeling station and water sprays for skin and pip removal in wash station

Machine includes endless conveyors on which the pumpkins are placed, cut into halves with the pulp facing downward. The first station through which they are transported is a steam peeler where they are exposed briefly to pressurized wet steam. The following wash station includes water sprays on top to remove the skin and on bottom to remove the pipes and the pip pulp. Waste amts. to 20%. cf. 50% with manual peeling.
