The conveyor is equipped with platforms and runs horizontally and vertically, the platforms remaining in the horizontal position. It comprises a frame, providing a track for a guide roller and another for a drive chain each side. The platforms are connected to a chain attachment each side by pivot joints, being free to swing through an arc when rising vertically. The chain attachments are driven by blocks on the chain and are connected on each side to spacer units by linkages. These linkages have universal joint connections to negotiate curves and compound angles, the whole assembly forming an endless loop.
