The automatic arterial pressure measurement appts. does not require the assistance of a third person. All the mechanisms are actuated by pneumatic or electronic controls and the appts. can be arranged to be con-operated so that it can be made available for use by the general public. There can be a fixed handle inside the housing, positioning the forearm correctly in relation to the armlet and pulse detector. The figures can then be printed out on a ticket with data and time.
