Valve with spherical cock casing, for 1/4 turn operation. comprises a tubular body of which the interior forms a chamber for the valve shutter, while the exterior is adapted for a preheating casing. The shutter is pref. spherical and disposed between two PTFE seats which provide sealing between the shutter and side plates. It has a hermetically sealed control shaft which ensures sealing by two opposed stuffing box seals, and a system for controlling open and closed positions. The components of the valve are assembled by only 4 fastening elements, and the valve includes a butterfly valve for control of output and a lower pivot for supporting the ball. The valve design allows an increase in mfg. tolerances and facilitates assembly.
