<p>The flat item distribution and sorting equipment incorporates one or more mechanisms for stacking sections of the same shape. The sections parted off from an item or stack of items by the last saw are received by a table sliding parallel to the plane in which this saw cuts. The table works in conjunction with a strip scraping the sections off it to drop onto a roller conveyor. The latter deliver the sections onto a carriage transporting them in the transverse direction and equipped with conveyor rollers or belts. The carriage discharges its load onto one of several parallel roller conveyor tracks, each delivering the items to a stacking mechanism.</p> |
